Champagne Telmont, the progressive French Maison backed by the Rémy Cointreau group, has announced the renewal of its partnership with the E1 World Championship, the world’s first all-electric powerboat racing series.

Returning as the official champagne supplier for a second consecutive season, Telmont deepens its alignment with E1’s bold vision of sustainability, innovation, and global entertainment.

The 2025 E1 calendar will span iconic and emerging waterfront cities, including Monaco, Lake Como, Doha, Dubrovnik, Lagos, and, for the first time, Miami. As the championship builds toward its dramatic finale in Florida this November, Telmont’s presence will be felt at every milestone, from bespoke experiences for fans to the celebratory podium moments that define motorsport culture.

Rodi Basso, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of E1, praised the renewed collaboration and said, “Our successful partnership with Maison Telmont will see them help celebrate our 2025 Champions of the Water in Miami in November, our first round to be held in North America. We both share a real passion and commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence at the core of what we do, which makes Maison Telmont a perfect partner for E1.”

Ludovic du Plessis, President of Telmont, added, “At Telmont, we believe that innovation and respect for nature must go hand in hand. We also believe that it is everyone’s responsibility to push boundaries and redefine standards. E1 is completely reinventing the standard for motorised water sports. It’s a unique blend of motorsport, emotion, and sustainability, and we are immensely proud to continue as their partner.”

Founded in 1912 in Damery, near Épernay, Champagne Telmont has long stood at the intersection of heritage and transformation. Its recent sustainability journey, launched in 2021 under the banner “In the Name of Mother Nature,” is redefining what it means to be a modern luxury house. With a mission to transition all estate and partner vineyards to organic and regenerative agriculture, the Maison has already certified 70% of its vineyards organic. This pursuit of transparency and environmental stewardship is paired with a commitment to reduce emissions and reach a net-positive carbon footprint by 2050.

E1’s ambition to rewrite the rules of marine racing mirrors Telmont’s own revolution within the champagne world. The championship’s format pairs cutting-edge electric technology with a progressive approach to competition, and teams feature both male and female pilots, racing together on equal footing. The series is sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), and its roster of team owners reads like a who’s who of global culture and sport, including Will Smith, Marc Anthony, Steve Aoki, Rafael Nadal, LeBron James, Tom Brady, Virat Kohli, Didier Drogba, and Marcelo Claure.

Throughout the 2025 season, Champagne Telmont will remain at the heart of the celebration, with every podium spray and curated fan experience reinforcing its philosophy of conscious luxury. The renewed partnership is more than symbolic. It amplifies a shared commitment to rewrite the playbook for both sport and celebration, proving that the future of indulgence can be both responsible and refined.
