Tata Open Maharashtra collaborates with ShareChat & Moj

The collaboration will allow ShareChat and Moj communities to access engaging content related to Tata Open Maharashtra.

Tata Open Maharashtra has announced a collaboration with the social media platform, ShareChat and the short video app, Moj.

According to a statement, this new collaboration will permit ShareChat and Moj users to access engaging content related to the sport, with a special category titled ‘Tata Open Maharashtra’ to be created under the sports tab in ShareChat.

Prashant Sutar, Tournament Director of Tata Open Maharashtra, said, “The tournament has always attracted the audience with top-notch and nail-biting tennis action with the participation of top names from the world and enjoys a great viewership in India. We are delighted to have a partnership with ShareChat and Moj for creating exciting content around the tournament to engage more audiences. It would be a great collaboration for promoting tennis through this platform and motivating the audience. Through this partnership, we will be trying to reach out to a much larger audience, especially millennials and Gen Z.”

Commenting on the partnership, Shashank Shekhar, Sr Director Content Strategy and Operations, ShareChat and Moj said, “We are delighted to partner with Tata Open Maharashtra and allow ShareChat and Moj communities to witness a prominent tennis tournament. Recently, ShareChat and Moj have also been appointed as the official content partner of the Prime Volleyball League.

Meanwhile, Rohan Bopanna along with Ramkumar Ramanathan will be in action on Wednesday in Men’s double against the United States’ Nicholas Monroe and James Cerretani. Fans can enjoy the live-action on the Star Sports Select channel as well as on its OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar.

The channel is set to broadcast the tournament live for nearly 50 hours during the week-long tournament.

The competition commenced on January 31 and will continue until February 6.
