T20 Mumbai League welcomes Red FM 93.5 as official radio partner

The T20 Mumbai League, the premier domestic cricket tournament of Mumbai, has announced a sponsorship agreement with the leading Indian radio FM network, Red FM 93.5. 

With this deal, the brand has become the official radio partner of the league, which is set to get underway on June 4, 2025.

Red FM, owned by the Sun Group of Chennai, is an Indian FM radio network headquartered in Tamil Nadu’s capital city. Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam are among the Indian languages transmitted by the network in 64 Indian cities.

The alliance intends to connect the sport and its devoted fans by providing live match updates and behind-the-scenes information via Red FM’s wide network. Listeners can also expect a mix of cricket analysis and interactive elements to keep them engaged to the action.  By collaborating, the T20 Mumbai League and 93.5 Red FM hope to create a vibrant audio-visual experience that embraces the passion of Mumbai cricket and brings fans closer to the game they like.

T20 Mumbai League, founded in 2018, seeks to give a platform for budding cricketers to get exposure and experience in a competitive setting. Triumph Knights Mumbai North East won the inaugural season, establishing a high standard for future seasons.
After a pause since 2019, the third season of the T20 Mumbai League will begin on June 4, 2025, at the Wankhede Stadium. This season will include eight teams, including two new franchises, broadening the league’s scope and competitive spirit. Rohit Sharma, a cricketing legend from Mumbai, has been named the league’s face, demonstrating the tournament’s dedication to promoting the city’s rich cricketing heritage.

The league has been instrumental in recognising and developing fresh talent, with players such as Shivam Dube, Tushar Deshpande, and Shams Mulani rising through the ranks to national prominence. With a strong infrastructure and a focus on grassroots development, the T20 Mumbai League remains a key player in defining the future of Mumbai’s cricketing environment.
