Sydney FC, Kennards Hire renew record-breaking long-term pact

Kennards Hire's logo will continue to appear on the back of Sydney FC's A-League and League jerseys.

The A-League outfit, Sydney FC have inked a partnership renewal with Australian family-owned and operated equipment hire company, Kennards Hire.

As part of the agreement, the two businesses will remain partners for a record-breaking tenth season after committing to a new three-year contract, becoming the premier family-owned equipment hire firm and the Sky Blues’ longest-serving corporate partner in history.

The present agreement has been in place for seven years, with an extension scheduled to last until the end of the 2026-27 season. Kennards Hire is one of the most renowned companies in the equipment hire sector, and its name has been associated with the Sky Blues since joining forces in 2017.

As part of the deal, Kennards Hire’s logo will continue to appear on the back of Sydney FC’s A-League and League jerseys.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Mark Aubrey, said, “Kennards Hire are excellent partners of Sydney FC and have been for many years. This extension represents a fantastic long-term commitment to Sydney FC and Australian football by a renown and successful Australian company. Kennards Hire and Sydney FC are two family orientated organisations who want to champion football and build strong family bonds through the game in this country. I’m excited to be continuing this important work with Kennards Hire for the better of the game and I congratulate them on extending their relationship with the Sky Blue family.”

The association grew stronger last season when a sizable contingent of young supporters joined the Sky Blues players at Sky Park for Kennards Kids Day. Additionally, Kennards Hire, in collaboration with the Kennards Hire Foundation, hosted over 100 young supporters for a VIP experience at Sydney FC’s match against Melbourne City at Allianz Stadium.

Kennards Hire CEO Bill Whitehouse, said, “Our partnership with Sydney FC is one of mutual respect, based on strong family values. Our community activations over the past few years such as Kennards Kids Day and ‘Best Seats in the House’ have been very successful, and we are proud to be providing opportunities for young Sky Blue supporters to feel so involved with their team. We are excited to continue backing both the A-League Men’s and Women’s squads for the next three years, and delivering many more football experiences for both youth and our corporate partners.”

Last month, the team also collaborated with Acronis and Hyperix to boost cyber protection
