Even though the Tokyo Olympics 2020 has come to an end, the buzz created by the Games seems to be continuing. JSW Paints offered to paint the homes of all Indian Olympians who have competed in the Olympics since India gained independence.
In a tweet, JSW Group announced that it would paint the homes of Indian Olympians as part of its new initiative ‘Sundar Bharat’.
As part of the new initiative, the company released a short video praising Indian Olympians for their achievements over the years.
JSW Paints MD Parth Jindal retweeted and said, “On this very special day in an honor to all Indians who have represented India at the Olympics since independence we @JSWPaints are offering to paint their homes anywhere in India for free …“
Many brands capitalised on the Indian athletes, who won medals at the just-concluded Tokyo Olympics by releasing special offers for them.
When Mirabai Chanu won silver in weightlifting, Dominos India offered free lifetime pizzas to the athlete, while Mahindra & Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra said he would like to gift the company’s SUV, the XUV700, to the Javelin Throw gold medalist Neeraj Chopra.
Manufacturer and marketer of industrial and decorative paint, JSW Paints was founded in 2019. As part of the JSW Group, the company has a presence in sports as well as in the media and entertainment industries. Sporting division JSW Sports not only owns a team in each of the Indian Premier League, Indian Super League, and Pro Kabaddi League, but also manages and supports Indian Olympians like Chopra, Bajrang Punia, and Sakshi Malik.
