The Super League Kerala (SLK), a premier football tournament in the southern Indian state, has inked sponsorship deals with Havells Lloyd and Britannia Good Day, ahead of the inaugural season.
As part of the agreement, both brands have been appointed as the league’s official associate partners.
Havells India owns the consumer durables brand Lloyd, which offers TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners. For INR 1,600 crore, Havells purchased Lloyd Electric and Engineering’s consumer durables division in 2017. Havells gained traction in the consumer appliances sector as a result of the transaction. Havells now intends to increase the export markets for Lloyd’s products, notably in the US, the Middle East, SAARC nations, and African nations.
