Star Sports team up with ShareChat and Moj for PKL promotion

In this association, a special category for PKL would be developed in ShareChat and Moj.

Star Sports has partnered with the social media platform ShareChat and video platform Moj to promote the 8th season of the Pro Kabbadi League. Being the official broadcast partner of PKL, Star Sports aim to increase the outreach of the tournament to the community of around 340 million users that the two platforms entertain.

In this association, a special category for PKL would be developed in ShareChat and Moj. The special category will provide the users with content related to PKL league matches, behind the scene moments, exemplary performances and watch match highlights and interviews of their favourite players. The matches would also be promoted and advanced through the platform’s creator ecosystem activation campaigns.

Commenting on this collaboration, Shashank Shekhar, the Senior Director of Content Strategy and Operations, ShareChat & Moj said, “We’re thrilled to associate with Star Sports for the upcoming Pro Kabbadi League. We are constantly curating our content to bring new and engaging experiences for our community on the platforms.”

ShareChat is a homegrown social media platform with a monthly active user base of over 180 million users. Moj is a short video app that has a monthly active user base of more than 160 million users. Thus, with this collaboration, Star Sports look forward to elevating and strengthening the fanbase of the marquee Indian kabaddi league this season.
