Star Sports leaves no scope for the fans in India to miss out on the action in the World Test Championship Final as they launch a new promo for the final that will be played between India and New Zealand from June 18. The promo for the WTC Final was released on the official Twitter handle of Star Sports.
The match that will determine greatness in the longest format of the game will be aired on its sports network channels and OTT platform Disney + Hotstar VIP. In the video, one can witness the voice of cricket, Harsha Bhogle narrates the journey of the Indian test team. He emphasises on the fact that the winner of this game will become the first-ever test champion of the world.

At the end of last week, the playing conditions for the WTC final were released by ICC. Announced by ICC back in June 2018, both India and New Zealand will be crowned as joint winners in case the match ends with a draw or a tie. Additionally, a provision of a reserve day will come into play only if the Test undergoes any delay or lost time during the regular days of the final – from June 18 to June 22.
After the allowance by the England and Wales Cricket Board, the five-day mega event could also witness about 4,000 spectators in the Ageas Bowl to support the teams playing for the title. Indian team comes into this final after a dominating 3-1 win against England at home and a historic 2-1 win against Australia at the start of 2021. The Indian team is expected to depart for England later this week to start the mandatory quarantine. The Indian players will be able to take their families for this long tour. After the World Test Championship final, India is set to play five test matches against England. Indian captain Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri will be addressing the media later today before they depart for England.
