Star Sports joins forces with Airtel Digital TV and Tata Play for IPL

Star Sports, the official television broadcaster of the Indian Premier League (IPL), announced a partnership with Airtel Digital TV and Tata Play to enhance the viewing experience for its subscribers for the cash-rich league.

The IPL experience on linear television will be transformed by Star Sports’ introduction of enhanced Dolby Atmos audio and additional features in collaboration with the top DTH providers. Star Sports subscribers of the Tata IPL on Airtel Digital TV and Tata Play can access the unique features for free.

With a touch of a button on the remote, Airtel Digital TV and Tata Play both provide extra feeds including Instant Highlights, Critical Moments, and Stats Feed. The footage in Key Moments is between one and three minutes in length, while the ones in Simple Highlights are refreshed every few overs.
