Star Sports inks multiple sponsorships ahead of India vs West Indies series

Despite the minimal built-up to India vs West Indies home series, the official broadcast partner Star Sports have received a positive response from advertisers.

After losing both the Test and One-Day International series against South Africa, the Indian team returns home to face the West Indies in a limited-overs series. The first ODI will commence on February 6 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Despite the minimal built-up to India vs West Indies home series, the official broadcast partner Star Sports has received a positive response from advertisers.

Star Sports has reportedly joined forces with the Indian fantasy sports platform, Dream11 and multinational educational technology company, Byju’s as the series’ co-presenting partners.

The series’ associate sponsors will include WhiteHat Jr, Magicpin, Policy Bazaar, Bajaj Allianz, Great Learning, Aakash Byju’s, and Kerovit.

The white-ball series will be aired in numerous regional languages and on multiple Star Network channels. Cricket fans can watch the action on Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports Select 2, and Star Sports Select 2 HD.

Fans will also be able to watch cricket action in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi in addition to English. In terms of online streaming, Disney+Hotstar will be the white-ball series’ official live streaming partner.

For the first time as a full-time ODI captain, Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team. Furthermore, the first ODI will be a historic occasion for India because India will play their 1000th One-Day International (ODI).
