Chennai Lions, a formidable force in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) league, has unveiled a series of strategic partnerships that promise to significantly bolster their campaign for the upcoming sixth season.
These collaborations with industry leaders Data Patterns, Stanley, and HomeLane underscore the franchise’s growing commercial appeal and ambition for UTT Season 6, set to kick off on May 31.
In a landmark agreement, Stanley, a renowned name in luxury home solutions, has been secured as the title sponsor for Chennai Lions. This significant new partnership sees the franchise officially rebranded as Stanley’s Chennai Lions, a testament to the deepened collaboration.
Maintaining a strong existing relationship, HomeLane, a trusted platform for home interior design and renovation, is continuing its association with the team as a gold sponsor. HomeLane’s sustained commitment is particularly noteworthy, having served as the team’s title sponsor in the preceding season.
Further fortifying the team’s commercial portfolio, Data Patterns, a leading vertically integrated Defence and Aerospace electronics solutions provider, has joined as the “powered by” partner. This diverse range of sponsorships highlights Chennai Lions’ appeal across various sectors.
Stanley’s Chennai Lions are poised for an exciting season. The team’s roster boasts a potent blend of international and Indian talent, featuring China’s Fan Siqi and Kazakhstan’s Kirill Gerassimenko. They will be joined by promising Indian players Poymantee Baisya, Nikhat Banu, Payas Jain, and Sudhanshu Grover. This diverse squad composition is expected to bring a dynamic edge to their matches.
Having narrowly missed a top-four finish last season, placing fifth and just outside the playoff contention, Stanley’s Chennai Lions are eager to make a strong comeback. Their opening match is scheduled for June 2 at 5:00 PM IST against Kolkata Thunderblades, promising an electrifying start to their UTT Season 6 campaign.
