SRMB Steel onboards Rohit Sharma as brand ambassador

With this development, Rohit Sharma has joined former Indian captains MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has been named the newest addition to SRMB Steel—TMT’s list of brand ambassadors.

With this development, the World Cup-winning skipper has joined former Indian captains MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev. The trio was featured in an advertisement released before the commencement of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) edition.

SRMB Steel ventured into the endorsement spectrum with the onboarding of the first-ever World Cup-winning Indian captain as a brand ambassador, and the entity also signed Dhoni eight years ago.

SRMB Director Ashish Beriwala stated, “We have been lucky. SRMB started with the legendary Kapil Dev on board and was ably supported by MS Dhoni eight years ago. The brand has grown since then, and now we are really blessed to have Rohit complete our select trio of champions. The campaign was wonderful, and the mutual respect and admiration amongst the ambassadors was amazing to see.”

The former Mumbai Indians (MI) captain will be featured in tonight’s game against Gujarat Titans (GT). The Indian opener didn’t have an ideal start to the ongoing IPL season as he got out for a duck in MI’s first game of the season.
