Spring Media inks extension with European Cricket Network

The ECN launched its own cricket tournament, the European Cricket League “ECL19” in 2019.

The European Cricket Network (ECN) has announced a four-year extension with Spring Media. The deal foresees Spring Media to handle the production of over 1,500 European cricket matches every season till 2026.

The ECN launched its own cricket tournament, the European Cricket League “ECL19” in 2019. The league was abbreviated as the Champions League of Cricket. The tournament saw huge popularity among the audience as it gained 140 million viewers and 45 broadcast partners around the world. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, the ECN kept entertaining the audience by launching its T10 domestic tournament.

Spring Media is a full-service worldwide sports media firm based in Stockholm, Sweden. It offers licensing, production, and consulting services to rights holders all around the world. Spring Media produces and distributes over 30,000 hours of live sports to over 450 broadcasters globally each year.
