The European Cricket Network (ECN) has announced a four-year extension with Spring Media. The deal foresees Spring Media to handle the production of over 1,500 European cricket matches every season till 2026.
The ECN launched its own cricket tournament, the European Cricket League “ECL19” in 2019. The league was abbreviated as the Champions League of Cricket. The tournament saw huge popularity among the audience as it gained 140 million viewers and 45 broadcast partners around the world. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, the ECN kept entertaining the audience by launching its T10 domestic tournament.

We have seen the vision and growth during the last two years, and together we will continue to bring cricket to Europe.
“As our production teams continue their journeys across Europe throughout the summer, we will prepare for the prestige, 5-week and 120-match cricket festival in Malaga, Spain, starting on September 12 – the much-anticipated 2nd edition of the European Cricket Championships where the England XI will be defending their crown against 20 competing nations and reaching up to 40 million viewers daily.“
