Sportzprix, an established Indian platform for grassroots sports education and talent development, has teamed up with the UAX Rafa Nadal University School in Madrid, which is mentored by tennis legend Rafael Nadal.

The pact has been formed to launch a globally recognised Master’s program in Digital Sports Marketing tailored for Indian students and sports working professionals.

This nine-month online program, which combines Rafael Nadal’s powerful philosophy with UAX’s academic expertise, will launch in October 2025. It aims to fill an essential ability gap in India’s rapidly growing sports economy by providing a future-ready curriculum in sports marketing, fan engagement, sponsorship strategy, and digital influence by means of a values-driven, worldwide relevant education model.

The curriculum was established by the academic team at UAX Rafa Nadal University School, and it includes a unique India-focused module co-authored with Sportszprix. This collaboration intends to specialise components and localise foreign frameworks for the Indian sports environment, with issues including league formats, sponsor collaborations, digital fan behaviour, and the growth of influencer marketing in Indian sport. It is designed for graduates, athletes, and marketing professionals who want to advance their careers in the rapidly increasing sports sector.

Mr. Prasad Mangipudi, Co-founder & CEO, Sportzprix, said, “With India bidding for global events like Olympics, CWG and the domestic leagues becoming bigger and more professional India is poised for a sports revolution, and marketing will play a central role in shaping its future. Our partnership with UAX Rafa Nadal University School brings world-class sports education to Indian students and professionals at the click of a button.”

Rafael Nadal, Founder, Mentor & Tennis Legend, said, “I’ve always believed in the powerful synergy between education and sport. Sport shapes individuals, but without academic grounding, its impact is incomplete. The UAX Rafa Nadal University School excites me because it embodies this alliance — blending education, specialization, and industry relevance. In a rapidly evolving world, we aim to stay ahead by anticipating market needs, and with the exceptional team we have, I’m confident we’ll deliver exactly what the industry demands.”

According to a Google-Deloitte analysis, India’s sports market is expected to reach $130 billion by 2030, fuelled by an increase in league-based structures, digital consumption, and a new generation of sports entrepreneurship. The debut of this program coincides with national momentum, providing a timely response to the growing demand for competent individuals who can navigate and lead in this dynamic field.

Miguel Palencia Yllera, Director, UAX Rafa Nadal University School, said, “The UAX Rafa Nadal School of Sport is designed to shape the future leaders of the sports industry, combining UAX’s academic experience with the sport values that have defined Rafa Nadal’s career: effort, humility, discipline, and perseverance. We focus on training the next generation of professionals in the multi-sports industry and sport technology, combining academic excellence with the values and experience of Rafa Nadal and his team.”
