SPORTSDAQ, India’s first sports business exchange, has unveiled a strategic partnership with the Microsoft-powered Global Sports Innovation Center (GSIC) to connect India’s rapidly expanding sports ecosystem to an international network of sports organisations, technology companies, startups, investors, universities, and public institutions.
As SPORTSDAQ’s Global Sports Innovation Partner, GSIC powered by Microsoft will help the event grow internationally by bringing global experience, top organisations, investors, innovators, and key partners to Ahmedabad.
SPORTSDAQ 2026 will be the first significant forum for this cooperation, bringing together players from India and throughout GSIC’s global ecosystem to share expertise, explore prospects, and develop long-term collaborations.
GSIC’s global innovation ecosystem, which connects sports organisations, technology businesses, startups, investors, universities, and public institutions across foreign markets, is brought to India through this relationship. GSIC will use this collaboration to improve ecosystem connections, assist the validation and testing of new solutions, encourage company growth and strategic alliances, and give access to international experience, knowledge, and global best practices.
At a pivotal point in the country’s athletic history, the partnership brings to India a preeminent worldwide organization that promotes sports innovation and creates one of the most robust global ecosystems in the industry.
SPORTSDAQ, which is slated to take place in Ahmedabad over three days on November 26–28, 2026, would bring together international leaders in the fields of sport, technology, infrastructure, investment, government, media, and business to discuss how India can create the next great sports ecosystem.
At a critical juncture in India’s sports development, Exhibetter and Round3 are organising the high-profile conference and exhibition. As Ahmedabad gets ready to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games and India moves closer to hosting the 2036 Olympic Games and 2038 Asian Games, the country is about to embark on what many consider to be the most important decade in its athletic history. These goals are anticipated to spur previously unheard-of investments in sports infrastructure, technology, innovation, and human resources, establishing sport as a key pillar of India’s social and economic advancement.
The collaboration with GSIC, driven by Microsoft, underlines the increasing worldwide acknowledgement of India’s rise as one of the world’s most fascinating sports marketplaces.
Yogesh Vyas, Chief Executive Officer, Exhibetter, said, “India stands on the threshold of a transformational decade for sport. As the country prepares to deliver world-class sporting events and world-class infrastructure, technology will be at the heart of that transformation. We are therefore delighted to welcome GSIC powered by Microsoft as our official Global Sports Innovation Partner. Their decision to enter India through SPORTSDAQ is a strong endorsement of both the conference and India’s growing importance in the global sports economy.”
Iris Córdoba, Managing Director of GSIC, said, “India is entering a defining decade for sport, with a unique opportunity to combine ambition, investment, innovation and international expertise. Through our partnership with SPORTSDAQ, GSIC powered by Microsoft wants to support this transformation by enabling knowledge exchange, strategic collaboration and new business opportunities between India and our global ecosystem. We also want to help Indian companies, startups and sports organisations showcase their capabilities internationally, access new partners and markets, and become active contributors to the future of the global sports industry. Our ambition is for this partnership to extend beyond the conference and create a lasting platform for collaboration between India and the global GSIC network.”
As part of the collaboration, GSIC will help to organise the conference by facilitating high-level discussions, sharing global best practices, and encouraging business development, investment, knowledge exchange, and cross-border collaboration. The program will include major topics such as sports technology, AI and data analytics, fan interaction, athlete performance, sports science, broadcasting, and media innovation.
The alliance will also attract internationally recognised CEOs, investors, inventors, and policymakers to SPORTSDAQ 2026, as well as link Indian stakeholders to GSIC’s worldwide network. The event, which is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates, aims to create long-term opportunities for investment, strategic partnerships, and international collaboration, thereby strengthening India’s position in the global sports ecosystem.
