Sportradar has entered the rapidly emerging prediction markets sector through a landmark global partnership with Kalshi, in a deal that positions the sports technology giant as a key infrastructure and data provider for one of the fastest-growing segments in event-based trading.

The multi-year agreement will see Sportradar supply Kalshi with a broad portfolio of products and services, including official sports data, live odds, fan engagement solutions, customer acquisition services and its industry-leading integrity services. The partnership is designed to support the expansion of sports-related prediction markets while strengthening market transparency, efficiency and user protection.

The collaboration is being billed as the first partnership of its kind between a major sports technology company and a regulated prediction market platform, underscoring the increasing convergence of sports, data and financial trading.

As part of the agreement, Kalshi will gain access to Sportradar’s extensive portfolio of official data rights across major sports properties, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Sportradar will also support brokers, market makers and other participants operating within Kalshi’s growing ecosystem.

The partnership represents a strategic expansion for Sportradar beyond its established sports betting business and into a market that is attracting increasing interest from investors, operators and regulators worldwide.

Carsten Koerl, Chief Executive Officer of Sportradar, said, “Prediction markets represent a compelling growth engine for the global sports ecosystem, and Sportradar is uniquely positioned to shape and power this emerging sector. Our partnership with Kalshi extends the reach of our premium sports data and services into a rapidly evolving landscape, fostering collaboration with market makers and the broader marketplace. This partnership with Kalshi marks a critical first step. We look forward to working with key prediction market participants as the landscape matures, establishing the trusted, compliant framework for sports innovation just as we have successfully delivered in online sports betting.”

Tarek Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Kalshi, added, “The breadth and depth of this partnership are what make it a big deal. We’re using official league data to ensure quicker trade settlements, creating an overall better customer experience. We’re also collaborating on an integrity monitoring program to further protect our users.”

For Kalshi, the agreement provides access to official league data and infrastructure capabilities that can enhance both market operations and customer experience.

The deal signals growing institutional confidence in prediction markets and highlights the increasing importance of official sports data and integrity services as the sector continues its rapid evolution. As prediction markets gain wider acceptance, the partnership between Sportradar and Kalshi could help establish the technological and regulatory standards that shape the category’s future development.
