The English football club, Southampton FC have developed a sponsorship extension with Ebury, a leading global fintech provider.
As per the new deal, the brand has become the team’s official fintech partner for 2025-26 season. Building on the successful partnership that began in October 2024, the extended deal will see Ebury continue to deliver market-leading expertise in global finance operations to support the club’s expansion plans.
As part of the agreement, Southampton will continue to have access to Ebury’s online payments platform, currency exchange solutions, and money transfer services. Ebury’s logo will also continue to be prominently displayed at St Mary’s Stadium, notably on LED and large screen displays during games.
Furthermore, the extension adds to Ebury’s growing global sports portfolio, involving agreements with football teams including AS Monaco, Rangers FC, PSV Eindhoven and more. Ebury’s specialised sports business segment showcases its experience by delivering bespoke solutions for managing cross-border payments, FX risk, sponsorship transactions, worldwide merchandising, player trading, and large capital investment for sports teams, agencies, and players.
Ebury has over 40 offices in 29 markets and employs 1,800 people. Its extensive range of services includes international payments and collections, FX risk management, and business finance, allowing global sports organisations to trade and operate globally with confidence.
