The hub for enjoying live sports action, Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) has acquired digital and TV rights for the India tour of Zimbabwe 2022.
The upcoming tour consists of three ODIs, which will take place between August 18 and August 22. The venue for all three ODIs will be the Harare Sports Club in Harare. The live-action can also be viewed on the company’s OTT platform, SonyLIV.
India toured Zimbabwe back in 2016 for three ODIs and T20Is each and won both bilateral series’.
The second string of Indian players is likely to travel to Zimbabwe for the 50-over bilateral series. Senior players of the team will play in the Asia Cup 2022, which according to sources will be played from August 27 to September 11. The upcoming edition of the Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format and the tournament is likely to be moved out of Sri Lanka, according to reports.
Ahead of the Zimbabwe tour and Asia Cup 2022, the Men in Blue will play five T20Is and three ODIs against West Indies. The tour will be played between July 22 and August 7, fixtures will be available for digital viewing on FanCode and the fans can also catch live action on DD Sports.
