Sony Sports Network set to broadcast England tour of Pakistan 2022

After a 17-year hiatus, England will play their first series in Pakistan.

India’s top premium sports broadcasting network, Sony Sports Network, is set to telecast the England tour of Pakistan, which will commence tomorrow i.e. September 20.

After a 17-year hiatus, England will play their first series in Pakistan. The bilateral series will be split into two halves, where the first half will consist of seven T20Is that will be played between September 20 – October 2, 2022. England will come back to the South Asian nation for the second half of the series for three Tests and which will be played between December 1 – 21, 2022.

All matches in the series will be broadcast live on Sony Six and Sony Six HD. The series will also be streamed live on Sony’s OTT platform, SonyLIV.

The series will also be significant for both teams because it will serve as an ideal bellwether to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

The Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, and his team will look to put up a challenging fight and gain some confidence, which will help them move past the loss they received against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2022 final. On the other hand, England will travel to Pakistan with a potent lineup that includes Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, and others.
