Sony Sports Network has launched a new campaign called “WWE Superstars with Rana Daggubati” which aims to highlight the untold stories and heroics of WWE Superstars.
The Sony Sports Network produced and conceptualised campaign will feature ten WWE Superstars’ stories narrated in English, Tamil, and Telugu by the actor, who is also a big WWE fan.
The “WWE Superstars with Rana Daggubati” initiative will highlight The Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, Big E, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch’s lesser-known stories from within and beyond the ring.
Daggubati narrates the story of WWE superstar Roman Reigns in one of the films. He tells the story of Roman and how he was born to be at the top of the WWE mountain. Roman was at the pinnacle of fame and success when his cancer reappeared. Even the most shocking news couldn’t keep “The Big Dog” down. Rana then describes how Roman overcame cancer to become “Head of the Table.”
Daggubati said, “I have been following WWE since childhood and I am a big fan. We only see the success of our favourite superstars but rarely know the struggles and hurdles they have overcome to be where they are today. I hope these films show our viewers another side of these WWE Superstars and inspire them to never give up in the face of adversity.”
