One of the leading sports broadcasting entities, Sony Sports Network has bagged media rights to the Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2024, which is set to take place in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, People’s Republic of China, from September 8 to September 17, 2024.

The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) recently confirmed the inclusion of the continent’s leading six teams, including Paris Olympics 2024 bronze medallists and reigning champions India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, China, and Malaysia. Notably, Sony will air the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 in India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
The first day of the competition will have all six teams competing. The opening match will feature South Korea against Japan, followed by Malaysia vs Pakistan, while the final match of the day will pit reigning champions India vs hosts China.
The eagerly anticipated match between archrivals India and Pakistan on September 14 will be one of the centrepieces of the championship. There will be 20 matches in the event, leading up to the final match on September 17.
