Somerset extends partnership with Trade Nation

The company’s logo will continue to feature on the Club’s LV=Insurance County Championship jersey.

Somerset County Cricket Club (SCCC) has announced an extension of its sponsorship deal with a London financial services firm, Trade Nation.

For the second year in a row, the online trading platform has confirmed that it will be the principal shirt sponsor for the club in the T20 Vitality Blast as well as the tournament’s live stream partner.

Trade Nation is an online trading platform where people can trade stocks, commodities, and currencies on their own terms. The corporation provides a self-service trading experience with low, fixed fees and no jargon.

The company’s logo will continue to feature on the Club’s LV=Insurance County Championship jersey. Moreover, the firm has also offered to partner with the Priory Bridge Road Stand again this year.

Trade Nation Chief Executive Stuart Lane, said, “Trade Nation’s partnership with Somerset County Cricket Club has been immensely rewarding and we’re incredibly excited to build further on the great results we’ve had over the past two years. We are eager and excited to see the new T20 shirts on the field soon, and support Somerset Cricket Club throughout the season.”

The trading services provider also asserted that it would continue to donate £50 per six and £150 for each out-of-grounder hit to local charities. The company confirmed that it had already donated thousands to a number of county charitable organizations, which include Children’s Hospital South West, Portishead RNLI, Somerset Disability, and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert, commented, “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Trade Nation during the last two years. Their generosity and their dedication to ensuring that our live stream and matchday experience is constantly evolving and improving has been one of the driving factors behind the success of our digital output and our excellent fan experience. We are looking forward to seeing how we can take this partnership to the next level in 2022.”

Recently, SCCC also extended its partnership with the long-time collaborator, Rotec Hydraulics Ltd for at least another year.
