The England and Wales domestic club, Somerset County Cricket Club (SCCC) has inked a partnership renewal with Thatchers Cider, a family-owned cider maker.
The three-year renewal arrangement will keep the Somerset-based firm as the club’s official cider partner. Thatchers will continue enjoying exclusive cider pouring rights at the Cooper Associates County Ground following the renewal of the agreement, which has been effective for more than a decade.
According to the deal, Thatchers’ logo will continue to be displayed on the magnificent roof terrace of the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion, providing members and hospitality visitors with an unparalleled chance to take in the matchday experience.
The Thatchers Player of the Match and Player of the Month awards for Somerset Women will be introduced in 2025, and the Somerset Women Vitality Blast shirt will also have the Thatchers brand on the back.
Additionally, Thatchers’ branding will be prominently displayed at the Cooper Associates County Ground, and the two groups will continue to work together on new content production and contests for our members and supporters.

Since 1904, thatchers have led the way in cidermaking. The brand creates a variety of high-end bottled, draught, and canned ciders, such as Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze, using its understanding and proficiency of apple varietals. These ciders are served in the bars at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
