Snoop Dogg invests in Bivouac

Snoop and Ken Howery, the co-founder of PayPal, paid $625,000 for a 40% ownership in the team.

Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper, alongside Ken Howery, has bought minority ownership in Bivouac, a BIG3 basketball team.

Ice Cube, a hip hop artist and actor, and the entertainment businessman, Jeff Kwatinetz developed Big3, a 3-on-3 basketball league. The league features 12 teams with former National Basketball Association (NBA) players as well as international players on their rosters. Big3 games have rules that differ from FIBA’s official 3-on-3 basketball rules.

Snoop and Ken Howery, the co-founder of PayPal, paid $625,000 for a 40% ownership in the team.

BIG3 has permitted investors to own NFTs in the league, which Snoop and Howery did when they bought all 25 “Fire-Tiers” for Bivouac for $25,000 each.

Bivouac had an underwhelming outing in the last season, but with a squad that contains the former NBA players, Josh Smith and Will Bynum, they’ll try again in the 2022 season, which will commence from June 18.
