SMK Helmets has strengthened its presence in global motorsport by signing rising Indian motorcycle racer Kavin Quintal as its latest brand ambassador.

The partnership will see the young rider represent the Indian helmet manufacturer throughout the 2026 racing season as he continues his pursuit of success on the international circuit.

As part of the agreement, Quintal, who races for the BMW EasyRace Team, will exclusively wear SMK’s flagship Titan Carbon Racing Helmet during his competitive campaigns. The collaboration brings together one of India’s fastest-growing performance helmet brands and one of the country’s most promising motorsport talents, underscoring a shared ambition to elevate India’s presence in global motorcycle racing.

The association comes at a pivotal stage in Quintal’s career. The Chennai-born rider has emerged as one of India’s leading racing prospects after progressing through the Honda India Talent Cup pathway and competing in international championships such as the Asia Talent Cup and various European racing series. His recent performances in Spain’s Copa de España de Velocidad championship have further cemented his reputation as a rider capable of competing at the highest levels of the sport.

For SMK Helmets, the partnership aligns with its broader strategy of strengthening its credentials in elite motorsport. Earlier this year, the brand made history by becoming the official technical helmet sponsor of the Moto4 Latin Cup, marking the first time an Indian helmet manufacturer entered the Road to MotoGP development ecosystem.

Launched in 2016 as the premium performance brand of Studds Accessories Limited, SMK has expanded its footprint significantly over the past decade and now exports its products to more than 70 countries worldwide. The partnership with Quintal provides the brand with another high-profile platform to showcase its racing technology and safety innovations on the international stage.

The collaboration also reflects the growing momentum of Indian motorsport, with domestic brands increasingly investing in emerging talent and supporting athletes as they compete against the world’s best.
