Skillhub Online Games Federation (SOGF) has announced a new partnership with the Global Esports Federation (GEF) to present the Global Esports Tour (GET) 2025 in Mumbai.
This landmark occasion is India’s inaugural Global Esports Tournament, bolstering the country’s position as a rising power in global esports.
The first Global Esports Tournament in Mumbai will include elite professional esports players and teams competing on an outstanding platform. This effort is a direct result of the Strategic Framework Agreement signed in October 2024 by SOGF and the GEF, which represents a long-term commitment to promoting esports in South Asia, encompassing India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
The Global Esports Tour Mumbai will not only include high-stakes action, but will also serve as a springboard for India’s esports talent on the global scene. SOGF hopes that by organising such a famous tournament, it would strengthen India’s esports business, promote investments, and generate unprecedented chances for athletes, developers, and organisations in the ecosystem.
