The global athletic footwear and apparel powerhouse, Skechers has announced a new association with Mohammed Siraj, one of India’s most exciting and motivating fast bowlers.

As part of the deal, the Hyderabad-born speedster will now wear Skechers cricket sneakers and appear in the brand’s marketing campaigns spanning performance and leisure categories.

On the association, Mohammed Siraj said, “For me, comfort and focus are everything when I’m on the field. Skechers gives me that confidence, whether I’m bowling my heart out or running in for that crucial spell. Their technology, attention to detail, and belief in athletes make them a brand I truly connect with. As part of the Skechers family, I’m excited for what’s ahead.”

Rahul Vira, CEO of Skechers South Asia Pvt. Ltd., said, “Mohammed Siraj represents the kind of relentless spirit, resilience, and raw talent that resonates deeply with our brand ethos. He recently made our country proud with his phenomenal performance in the Test series against England, showcasing exactly the kind of intensity and consistency we celebrate at Skechers. Fans will now see him competing in Skechers as part of the elite group of athletes on our team who define what it means to perform with comfort, power, and passion.”

Siraj’s growth in international cricket has been nothing short of amazing, with him topping the ICC ODI bowling rankings in 2023, producing match-winning spells in Tests throughout the world, and now continuing his phenomenal run with the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Gujarat Titans (GT). Siraj most recently played a significant role in India’s comeback during the July-August 2025 Test series against England. He became India’s leading wicket-taker, with 23 wickets, including a critical five-wicket haul in the last Test at The Oval, which enabled India level the five-match series 2-2 and retain the first Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.

Siraj joins Skechers’ roster, which also includes Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan and Yastika Bhatia, bolstering the brand’s position in Indian cricket and underlining its commitment to innovation-led performance gear for athletes of all levels.

Skechers Cricket offers full-spike and half-spike footwear designed for performance. The Skechers Cricket Elite, with 11 metal spikes, is built for players looking for maximum grip and power, whilst the Skechers Cricket Blade, with 7 spikes, provides better agility and control—ideal for bowlers like Siraj who want explosive performance and consistent support. Aside from cricket, Skechers provides performance footwear for top and recreational athletes in football, jogging, basketball, pickleball, and golf.
