SJ Uplift Kabaddi’s Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL), the official state league staged in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi Association, attracted a large audience during Season 2, demonstrating the tournament’s increasing popularity.
Season 2 was hosted in the Noida Indoor Stadium and televised in Hindi and English on Zee Anmol Cinema 2 and &Pictures HD. Zee Entertainment served as the official broadcast partner.
Season 2 had a 120% increase, with a total reach of 40 million in India (2+). The AMA (Average Minute Audience) for Season 2 (2+) was 90.8, indicating that state-level leagues in India are becoming increasingly popular, appealing, and consumed. Season 1 had a total reach of 18.2 million and an AMA of 49.

The Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League is organised by SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi Association. Its goal is to improve grassroots-to-professional paths through superior competitive kabaddi. Season 2 included 66 live matches, up from 55 in Season 1. Season 2 also saw the arrival of four new teams: Kanpur Warriors, Aligarh Tigers, Purvanchal Panthers, and Gazab Gaziabad, bringing the total number of franchises to twelve. Tusshar Kapoor also joined as co-owner of the Gazab Ghaziabad franchise. The finals began on December 25, 2025, and saw Kashi Kings take the championship on January 10, 2026.
