The South Australian success story, Simba Car Hire, has announced a landmark partnership with Adelaide Strikers Men’s and Women’s teams ahead of the 2025–26 and 2026–27 Big Bash League seasons, strengthening the bond between two homegrown brands.

Under the two-year agreement, Simba becomes the official car hire partner of the Strikers, supporting both squads with vehicle and transport solutions throughout the upcoming campaigns. The partnership will also place Simba’s branding prominently on the Men’s BBL playing shirt sleeve, extending the company’s visibility to national and international audiences across broadcast and digital platforms.

Beyond on-field exposure, the collaboration will focus on fan engagement, community-driven promotions, and match-day activations at Adelaide Oval. Together, the Strikers and Simba will look to deliver experiences that celebrate South Australian pride and the shared values of accessibility, loyalty, and connection.

Speaking on the occasion, Simba Car Hire Operations Manager Kyrene O’Neill said, “At Simba Car Hire, we believe in more than just providing vehicles. We believe in connecting people, places, and purpose. Teaming up with the Adelaide Strikers allows us to connect with our community in an entirely new way, proudly showing that South Australian businesses can achieve great things together and take on the rest of Australia.

“This partnership isn’t just a sponsorship, it’s a celebration of shared values such as loyalty, passion, and community. At Simba Car Hire, we’re driving change in the car rental industry by putting people first, and teaming up with the Adelaide Strikers helps us share that mission with the state we call home.”

South Australian Cricket Association CEO Charlie Hodgson welcomed the partnership and added, “This new partnership between Simba Car Hire and our Men’s and Women’s Strikers teams unlocks exciting opportunities for both proudly South Australian organisations. We share a passion for creating the best possible customer experiences and connecting communities through sport. We look forward to working with Simba to bring these values to life.”

Founded in Adelaide, Simba Car Hire has rapidly evolved into an emerging national brand, recognised for its transparent pricing, personalised service, and commitment to customer satisfaction. With operations now spanning multiple states, the company continues to champion its South Australian roots while expanding its footprint across Australia’s competitive vehicle rental market.

The agreement reinforces the Strikers’ strategy of partnering with South Australian businesses that reflect the state’s spirit of innovation and growth, as both the Men’s and Women’s teams gear up for another thrilling Big Bash summer.

The Strikers Women’s team, led by Tahlia McGrath, will open their WBBL campaign on November 10 against Melbourne Stars, with stars such as Megan Schutt and Laura Wolvaardt returning to the squad. The Men’s side, captained by Matt Short, will feature a dynamic line-up including Alex Carey, Chris Lynn, Jamie Overton, and D’Arcy Short, beginning their season on December 17 against Sydney Sixers.

With this partnership, Simba Car Hire and Adelaide Strikers are set to drive together toward two seasons of growth, pride, and community connection, on and off the field.
