The sports brand Shrey Sports has inked a three-year partnership with the Southamption University Students’ Union.
The multi-year apparel pact includes Shrey offering sportswear and cutting-edge technology to the university with an option to extend the pact for two years.
In addition, the affiliation also includes the two parties involved collaborating to assist more than 9,000 students in enhancing their involvement in internal sports and university tournaments.
Founder & Owner, Shrey Global – Raghav Kohli remarked, “We are deeply honoured to
partner with SUSU and are ready to bring our expertise, passion, and vision to this
partnership. This milestone not only reinforces our global ambitions but also sets the
foundation for long-term success in the university teamwear sector.”
Mike Humble, Head of Teamwear at Shrey, says, “I’ve been involved in University Teamwear tenders for over 25 years so it was no surprise to me to learn just how many businesses were involved in the SUSU tender process. Winning this contract, especially at our first attempt to secure a full multi-sport University tender, reinforces our belief that Shrey has such a strong offering in this space.”
Mike went on to say, “It was also refreshing to get the feedback from SUSU that we didn’t just come first in a race on price; our product quality, online ordering/returns, and experienced account management shone through in the scoring. We are so excited to be working with Team Southampton for the next 3+ years.”
Conor White, VP Sports at SUSU added, “Shrey came to us with a compelling service provision, fantastic quality samples, and a commitment to steer us through this rebranding of Team Southampton. Mike, Matt, and the team at Shrey have given us every confidence that our student clubs are in very safe hands and we can’t wait to see the teams running out in their new Shrey kit”. #BleedBurgundy
