Sheffield United strike name rights partnership with Skills People Group

With this deal, Sheffield United Academy will now be referred to as the Skills People Group Academy.

The EFL Championship club, Sheffield United FC have announced a partnership with Skills People Group, one of the UK’s leading providers of vocational and commercial training and skills bootcamps.

As part of the deal, Skills People Group has become the official name rights partner of the Sheffield United Academy, which will henceforth be referred to as the Skills People Group Academy.

The association with Skills People Group demonstrates a common commitment to nurturing young talent and creating opportunities for success both on and off the pitch. Skills People Group, the leading provider of training to the UK construction sector, focuses on providing high-quality training solutions.

Liam Robinson, Sheffield United’s Commercial Manager, said, “We are delighted to welcome Skills People Group as our Academy naming rights partner. Sheffield United recently drew 1-1 with Huddersfield Town A.F.C. to close up their preseason campaign. Ben Wiles gave the home team the lead early in the first half, while Anel Ahmedhodzic gave the Blades an early equaliser early in the second half.
