National Basketball Association (NBA) legend Shaquille O’ Neal will be selling his minority stakes in Sacramento Kings following his agreement with WynnBET to become its new brand ambassador. WynnBET is owned by Wynn Resorts International. WynnBET is a licensed sportsbook or sports betting product. O’Neal obtained an ownership stake of less than five per cent in the Kings in 2013. WynnBET will feature O’Neal in its advertising campaigns across TV, digital, and print as part of the long-term partnership.
According to the League rules, the former NBA player must sell his stake in the team following the deal with WynnBET. O’Neal will provide his expertise to WynnBET as a strategic advisor. O’Neal will create actual content with WynnBET and will also speak as a guest with media partners such as Blue Wire, Podcasts, Cumulus Media and Minute Media.
In this agreement, the former NBA player will also launch, ‘ShaqPot’ an (FTP) free to play game housed inside the WynnBET app. Shaq said, “I love working with my friends at Wynn Resorts and I am so excited to take WynnBET to new heights”.
