The Italian top-flight competition, Serie A has signed a partnership renewal with the Mondelēz International Group-owned cheese company, Philadelphia.
The pact, which commenced in the 2023-24 season, will have a couple of years of extension. The new development will consist of the brand’s visibility on pitchside LEDs during the Supercup and the Coppa Italia Final. In addition, the entity will also be the sponsor of highlights by Philadelphia of all Serie A fixtures on the Lega Serie A YouTube channel and the official app. All highlights will include “presented by Philadelphia’ on the videos.
The newly unveiled arrangement has also enabled Philadelphia to be the title sponsor of the Coach of the Month and Coach of the Season awards.
The media companies, DAZN and Sky will broadcast the awards live along with digital content on the official social media handles of the Italian competition and Philadelphia.
The Mondelez International Group-owned entity will also be the title sponsor of the ‘Fair Play Moment Of The Season’ award.
The extension also includes the Philadelphia Junior Cup | Keep Racism Out youth tournament.
In one of the recent advancements, Serie A and Meta teamed up to combat online piracy. The Italian competition will be able to access Meta tools for monitoring, reporting and instant removal of Serie A fixtures that are illegally streamed on Instagram and Facebook.
