Serie A 2022/23: Sponsors Watch

Considering the stature of the competition, some of the renowned European brands have intended to team up with the Italian football league.

The Italian football league, Serie A will commence its 2022-2023 season today i.e. August 13 with defending champion AC Milan squaring off against Udinese Calcio in the season opener at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, San Siro.

Despite fielding a young team last season, AC Milan challenged all odds to capture the Scudetto. The Milan club would hope to replicate the same accomplishment this season.

Another top Italian club, Juventus will also look to regain their form from the 2019-20 season. They go against Sassuolo in their first outing as the club aims to win its 37th title.

Considering the stature of the competition, some of the renowned European brands have intended to team up with the Italian football league. This year also, the scenario is no different, several companies have signed the dotted lines of the competition. Below is the list of sponsors that are associated with Serie A for the current season:

Title Sponsor:

Italy’s top division football league has partnered with TIM as the title sponsor. Both entities inked a contract extension in 2021 which will keep the firm as the main sponsor until 2024.

Licensee Partner:

Serie A also announced an association with the video game developer, Electronic Arts (EA) Sports as an exclusive licensee partner.

Other Sponsors:

The organisers have also collaborated with the world’s fastest-growing crypto platform, Crypto.com as the innovation & technology partner. As an official partner of Serie A and main sponsor of the Supercoppa and Coppa Italia, the league has roped in Socios.com.

Serie A has included Puma to deliver match balls for all the matches that will be held throughout the season.

Along with the aforementioned brands, Serie A has onboarded Trentalia, BEiT, Frecciarossa, One Football and Sorare as partners.
