Seattle Seahawks, the National Football League unit, have announced a new multi-year agreement with PayPal Holdings, Inc., a worldwide payments leader.

With this pact, the brand has become the team’s official fan-to-fan payments and exclusive digital ticket payment processing partner. Moreover, PayPal has also become the new presenting partner of the Seahawks Gameday Experience Program, which provides fans with special chances, including pregame field passes, on-field access during player introductions, postgame press conference access, and more for each home game.

Furthermore, customers purchasing season tickets will be able to check out only through PayPal’s effortless experience. The Seahawks have completely integrated PayPal’s payment processing systems with Ticketmaster, marking a first for PayPal in the NFL.

Ben Volk, SVP and General Manager of PayPal Consumer, said, “There’s nothing like the energy of the 12s — one of the most passionate fanbases in sports, where the noise and pride show up at full force every Sunday. PayPal is focused on building experiences that match that intensity, making it easier for fans to split tickets, send money, and pay for everything from pregame plans to postgame celebrations. This partnership is the latest step in PayPal helping fans spend less time coordinating and more time enjoying the moments that make gameday special.”

Amy Sprangers, Chief Revenue Officer, Seattle Seahawks, said, “We are thrilled to welcome PayPal, an industry leader in payments and digital commerce, to the Seahawks family. Our shared commitment to innovation will elevate the gameday experience for the 12s in new and exciting ways.”

Through this collaboration, PayPal is reinventing how fans pay, interact, and engage in gameday experiences around money movement moments.

PayPal’s extensive peer-to-peer solution allows one to send and receive money with more reach and flexibility. And there is no other way to send money to hundreds of millions of people across 110+ countries than through the new PayPal app, where payments are secured and transactions are secure. Fans can quickly and easily send or receive money by entering their name, username, email address, or phone number.

PayPal now allows users to submit payments using shareable links, which means one may send a payment via text, direct message, or email. Pools allow fans to organise and monitor donations for group purchases or shared experiences.

The cooperation expands PayPal’s increasing presence in sports and entertainment. With over hundreds of millions of active accounts in 200 regions, PayPal has the scalability, credibility, and worldwide reach to support high-demand events like game day. PayPal, by combining quick checkout, flexible payments, and social money movement, will assist the Seahawks in unlocking new ways to connect fans and produce incremental income related to gameday – from ticketing and upgrades to in-stadium and community activities.
