SeatGeek strengthens English football presence with Watford FC addition

Watford teamed up with SeatGeek considering the ticketing platform's power and flexibility and its exuberant experience of working with English football teams.

The mobile-focused ticket platform that allows users to carry out the process of buying and selling tickets seamlessly for live sports, theatre events and concerts, SeatGeek has inked a multi-year partnership with the Premier League club, Watford FC

Watford teamed up with SeatGeek considering the ticketing platform’s power and flexibility and its exuberant experience of working with English football teams. Following this association, Watford have commissioned a mobile digital ticketing experience that provides a fluent process right from buying a ticket through stadium entry. 

While speaking about the seamless ticketing experience, Richard Walker, Head of Communications and Media Relations at Watford FC, said, “We need a first-class solution to help us deliver an excellent and seamless experience because ticketing is the first touchpoint we have with our supporters.SeatGeek stands out from the crowd – different from any of the other providers we were considering, and we’ve been delighted with the value they’ve delivered from day one. Apart from Watford, SeatGeek has some of the elite English top-flight teams in its portfolio – Manchester City, Leicester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United. Stoke City, Bristol City, and Middlesbrough are the teams from EFL Championship that have joined hands with SeatGeek. In the National Football League (NFL), SeatGeek has teamed up with Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and Arizona Cardinals. Earlier this month, SeatGeek also became the official ticket marketplace for NASCAR races
