BWT Alpine F1 Team has added SEALSQ, the post-quantum semiconductor and cybersecurity company, as a new team partner. The collaboration goes live during the ongoing 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, placing Alpine alongside one of the fastest-advancing players in quantum-resistant technology.
The agreement sees SEALSQ support the French F1 team with post-quantum semiconductors, secure hardware, and next-generation cryptographic systems. Its core objective is to deploy quantum-resistant encryption across Alpine’s technical ecosystem, safeguarding performance data, simulation models, and proprietary engineering insights at a time when the sport faces rapidly evolving digital threats. The two organisations will also evaluate quantum-enabled applications that can enhance team infrastructure in the years ahead.
SEALSQ, part of the WISeKey group, brings expertise across semiconductor manufacturing, post-quantum public key infrastructure, and Quantum as a Service products. The company is using its entry into F1 to highlight its QS7001 quantum-resistant chip, launched this weekend in Las Vegas. For Alpine, integrating SEALSQ’s technology is a strategic step toward future-proofing its operations as data security becomes a competitive pillar in elite motorsport.

The partnership places SEALSQ inside one of the most data-intensive environments in global sport, giving the company a high-visibility proving ground for quantum-safe technologies. It also strengthens Alpine’s growing commercial roster, which includes BlockDAG, Claro, AtkinsRéalis, JET365, viagogo, and Castore.
Formula 1 teams are increasingly investing in cybersecurity as real-time telemetry, cloud-based processing, and digital engineering continue to scale. The addition of SEALSQ mirrors a wider industry movement in which advanced technology firms are using motorsport as a testbed for secure, high-reliability applications.
BWT Alpine F1 Team enters the Las Vegas weekend focused on performance improvements and operational upgrades for the 2025 campaign, with the SEALSQ partnership fully activated from November 20 to 22.
