The Formula 1 team, Scuderia Ferrari, has announced a new sponsorship collaboration with a global cybersecurity leader, Bitdefender. As per the deal, the Romanian group will serve as the global partner of the F1 team.

Bitdefender will become a Scuderia Ferrari Partner from October 2 at the Singapore Grand Prix. As part of the agreement, the Bitdefender logo will feature on the helmets of Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, as well as on the F1 cars they drive. The company’s logo will also be added to racing suits and team uniforms from the 2023 season.
In addition, the organisations will conduct advertising campaigns such as private get together with Ferrari team drivers and technological team members, factory tours, garage access, as well as other exclusive activities. Moreover, Ferrari will also examine and evaluate Bitdefender cybersecurity products and services in order to integrate them into its operations.
F1 racing teams place a high value on cybersecurity and data analysis. Because of the characteristics of the sport and the teams, F1 racing industries are frequently on the move and require global communication, making data privacy and security critical. Plans, classified information, car schematics, and patterns must all be kept secret.
