FIFA has confirmed that its free global streaming service, FIFA+, will soon be available in vehicles through a new distribution partnership with ScreenHits TV, further extending the platform’s footprint into connected media environments.
Under the agreement, the FIFA+ FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channel will launch on ScreenHits TV’s in-car entertainment platform from 1 October 2025. The service will be integrated across select models from leading automotive brands, including Lincoln, Porsche, Ford, Renault, and Nio, with additional manufacturers expected to join in the future.
FIFA+ will be positioned among the top three sports channels on ScreenHits TV’s in-car line-up, giving passengers access to an extensive catalogue of football content. The channel will feature full-match replays, documentaries, interviews, archival footage, and classic moments from FIFA’s vast library. While live match rights are not part of the in-car offering at this stage, the collaboration is designed to broaden FIFA’s reach and strengthen engagement with fans while travelling.
Commenting on the occasion, Rose Hulse, ScreenHits TV’s Founder and Chief Executive, said, “FIFA+ is an incredible brand and we are happy to bring it to customers who want to watch sports. This collaboration with FIFA+ is a game-changer for fans on the move.”
The move highlights the growing trend of cars evolving into connected entertainment hubs. By embedding FIFA+ within ScreenHits TV platform, the governing body of world football is expanding its direct-to-consumer strategy beyond traditional devices. The initiative builds on FIFA’s earlier collaboration with ACCESS Europe, which brought FIFA+ to smart TVs and in-car platforms through Twine4Car and NetRange systems.
In addition to its new automotive presence, the FIFA+ FAST channel will remain available across ScreenHits TV’s broader ecosystem, including web, mobile, and smart devices.
Launched in April 2022, FIFA+ was created to give fans free access to a mix of live games from global football competitions, extensive FIFA World Cup archives, match replays, and long-form original programming. The in-car launch represents the latest step in FIFA’s effort to position the platform as the central digital destination for football storytelling worldwide.
