In a move that would reshape India’s competitive gaming environment, SARC Global, a leading strategic advising and consultancy business, has collaborated with NODWIN Gaming, a subsidiary of India’s leading gaming and esports company, to speed up the expansion of esports across the country.

The cooperation will concentrate on tournament promotion, monetising NODWIN Gaming’s IPs through sponsorships and subsidies, and advocating for esports-friendly policies with key government stakeholders. Furthermore, the collaboration intends to create a sustainable and future-ready ecosystem for India’s fast rising esports sector by combining SARC Global’s strengths in policy advocacy, investment facilitation, and cross-border relationships with NODWIN’s deep knowledge in gaming communities and esports intellectual property.

“This collaboration will create new commercial opportunities for esports and help in building a sustainable ecosystem, aligned with the goal of PM Narendra Modi towards Viksit Bharat,” said Sunil Kumar Gupta, Chairman, SARC Global.

Gautam Singh Virk, CEO of NODWIN Gaming, said, “We’re bridging the world of competitive gaming with the business and policy frameworks that will allow it to thrive in the long run. With SARC Global bringing their expertise in policy advocacy and investments, and NODWIN bringing our experience in building communities and IPs, we’re setting the stage for an esports ecosystem that is not only sustainable but also future-ready.”

The period of the collaboration coincides with new regulatory momentum. States such as Maharashtra, Bihar, and Rajasthan are enacting pro-gaming legislation, while the recently passed Online Gaming Act of 2025 creates a central regulator, incentivises infrastructure, and provides clear safeguards for youthful audiences. According to the 2025 FICCI-EY research, the number of brands investing in esports is predicted to rise from 68 in 2024 to 75 in 2025, driven by larger competitions, more gaming titles, and increased younger participation.

Rajendra Bagade, Senior Partner at SARC Global, said, “SARC Global can play a major role in facilitating, bringing investment, mentoring this sector, and identifying partners across the world.”

With esports now recognised as a conforming and regulated industry, sponsorships, prize pools, and large-scale youth advertising are projected to increase significantly. The SARC Global-NODWIN Gaming collaboration is well-positioned to capitalise on these prospects, combining regulatory influence with commercial innovation to propel India’s esports industry into the next stage of global competitiveness.

This alliance represents not only growth, but also the mainstream integration of esports into India’s digital economy, paving the way for a Viksit Bharat in which gaming is both a cultural phenomenon and a booming business sector.
