Santa Margherita extends partnership with Inter Milan

Socios.com also became the main jersey partner earlier this season.

Santa Margherita strengthens its ties with Inter Milan by signing an extension with the current Serie A champions. In this agreement, Santa Margherita will be the official wine partner of the team.

The wine company had previously introduced a limited edition magnum Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut “52” that was dedicated to Inter’s Scudetto triumph last campaign. After the agreement on the extension, the wine company will further collaborate with the Serie A giants.

Luca Danovaro, Inter Chief Marketing Officer commented on this partnership stating: “We are delighted to officially welcome Santa Margherita into the Inter family as Official Wine Partner. The agreement comes after initial collaboration following our 19th Serie A title. This partnership brings together two global brands that are symbols of excellence in their respective sectors.”

In response to this deal, Beniamino Garofalo, CEO Santa Margherita added: “We are proud to take the field this season alongside the Italian champions. Inter is a cornerstone of world football, just as Santa Margherita is one of the ambassadors of Italian taste and lifestyle. If our wines are able to win over entire generations of wine-lovers in Europe, Asia and overseas, the Nerazzuris shirt similarly generates passion and warms heart everywhere.”

Earlier this year, Internazionale has expanded its range of partnerships and entered the world of blockchain and fintech through a collaboration with Chiliz, as the club now promotes $INTER Fan Token on the front of the team’s shirt. Socios.com also became the main jersey partner earlier this season.

Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan is set to defend its title this season in Serie A. They are third in the league table after a 1-1 draw with their rivals Juventus at home. Napoli and AC Milan are also in the race to win the Scudetto this year with Napoli seating at the top of the league table after nine matchdays.
