Sania Mirza continues her stint as Sony Sports Network’s brand ambassador for tennis properties

Sania Mirza will continue to feature as an expert panellist on Sony Sports Network's studio show Extraaa Serve, which will be carried live during the coverage of Roland Garros.

One of the leading sports broadcasting entities, Sony Sports Network has announced an extension with Sania Mirza as its brand ambassador for tennis properties such as Roland Garros, the US Open, the Australian Open, and more.

The Indian tennis legend will continue to feature as an expert panellist on Sony Sports Network’s studio show Extraaa Serve, which will be carried live during the coverage of Roland Garros.

Sania Mirza stands as one of India’s most successful tennis players, having won six Grand Slam titles. She has also received several important awards, including the Arjuna Award, Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, Padma Shri, and Padma Bhushan. She will next appear on Sony Sports Network providing expert commentary and in-depth analysis for Roland Garros. Along with Sania Mirza, Sony Sports Network’s expert panel for Roland Garros will include Olympian and former India No. 1 and Asian Games and Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Somdev Devvarman, as well as Davis Cup player Purav Raja.

The competition will be contested on the roughest court in tennis, so expect surprises when it begins on May 26 on Sony Sports Network. Roland Garros 2024 will be broadcast in four languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, increasing the enthusiasm among Indian tennis fans. Notably, Sony Sports Network is the home of tennis in India, broadcasting three of the four Grand Slams (Australian Open, Roland Garros, and US Open), as well as the ATP Masters and Davis Cup.
