Samsung has unveiled a powerful new campaign, ‘India Cheers Neeraj,’ to celebrate the extraordinary grit, determination, and spirit of Olympic gold medalist and Galaxy Z Fold series ambassador, Neeraj Chopra.
The campaign, developed by Cheil India, a marketing arm of the Samsung Group, is aimed to unite the nation behind Chopra and inspire him to achieve another historic victory at the Paris Olympics.
The South Korean tech giant’s campaign has leveraged the collective enthusiasm of India through a dedicated microsite and SMS platform, enabling millions to send well wishes directly to Chopra. A captivating film showcasing Chopra’s journey has further fueled patriotic fervour and solidified his status as a national icon.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a 120-second film that showcases Chopra’s intense training regimen and unwavering determination. Interspersed with these scenes are glimpses of everyday Indians cheering him on, highlighting his status as a “common man’s hero.” The film’s emotional resonance and portrayal of Chopra’s dedication have been praised, generating significant buzz on social media with the hashtag #IndiaCheersNeeraj exceeding 343,000 conversations.
