In a significant move set to revolutionise athlete well-being, Saatva, the renowned luxury mattress company, has announced a landmark partnership, becoming the official mattress and restorative sleep provider for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA.

This comprehensive agreement, unveiled during Better Sleep Month, also includes a strategic collaboration with NBCUniversal, the long-term US rights holder for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This groundbreaking partnership underscores a deep commitment to elevating athlete health and performance through optimal sleep. Saatva will provide its handcrafted, made-to-order mattresses, along with luxury linens and pillows, to athletes competing in the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This premium sleep support will also extend to Team USA athletes preparing for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

The initiative directly addresses past concerns about athlete accommodations at previous Olympic Games, where the comfort and impact of bedding on recovery were widely discussed. By providing superior sleep environments, Saatva aims to establish a new benchmark for athlete support, emphasising that restorative sleep is a critical component of peak athletic performance, injury prevention, and overall recovery.

Speaking on the association, Ron Rudzin, Founder and CEO of Saatva, said, “Partnering with the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games presented a powerful opportunity for Saatva to lead with our ethos of delivering exceptional rest. Sleep plays a transformative role in athletic performance and recovery, and we’re proud to help these world-class athletes rest and recharge on the global stage.”

John Slusher, U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Properties Chief Executive Officer, echoed this sentiment and added, “As we continue to add partners to the LA28 and Team USA family, we’re thrilled to bring Saatva into our portfolio on the road to 2028. We look forward to leveraging Saatva’s innovative solutions to set a new standard for supporting athletes — both on and off the field of play.”

The collaboration with NBCUniversal will grant Saatva a significant branding presence across Olympic and Paralympic broadcasts, further spotlighting the vital role of sleep in athletic success. This integrated approach seeks to educate and inspire viewers about the importance of quality rest. To kick off the partnership, Saatva, in conjunction with NBCUniversal’s The TODAY Show, launched a consumer giveaway for a $15,000 Saatva bedroom setup and a nationwide 15% discount offer.

For Saatva, this alliance marks a significant milestone as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary, solidifying its position as a leader in the luxury sleep market. The brand’s philosophy, “true excellence is built on recovery, resilience, and rest,” will be actively championed through this partnership, demonstrating Saatva’s commitment to promoting sleep as a fundamental aspect of holistic well-being.

This forward-thinking approach to athlete care acknowledges that every aspect of an athlete’s preparation contributes to their ability to perform at the highest level. By providing superior sleep environments, Saatva, Team USA, and LA28 are making a direct investment in the health and success of future Olympians and Paralympians.

Saatva joins a growing roster of prominent partners for the LA28 Games, including PennyMac, Allianz, AECOM, Cedars-SinaiDICK’S Sporting GoodsCiscoNew Era, and Guild.
