Rugby Australia (RA) has extended its partnership with Australian fitness brand PTP for a further two years, keeping the company as its Official Fitness Accessory Supplier through the end of 2027.

The renewal extends a relationship that began in 2020 and will see PTP continue to support all four of Rugby Australia’s senior national programs: the Wallabies, Wallaroos, Australian Men’s Sevens and Australian Women’s Sevens.

Under the agreement, PTP will provide fitness and performance equipment covering strength and conditioning, core training, mobility, recovery, injury prevention and rehabilitation. The products will form part of RA’s High Performance Program, with PTP also working alongside the organisation’s medical and athletic performance teams to refine equipment for the demands of elite rugby.

Rugby Australia General Manager of Performance Health, Science and Data, Scott Murphy, said, “Maintaining elite physical condition across our national teams requires high-quality, reliable, and innovative performance tools. PTP has been a trusted partner of Rugby Australia since 2020, and their commitment to continuous product innovation and world-class athletic equipment directly supports our sports science and medical staff in keeping our players performing at their peak, minimising injury risk, and accelerating recovery. Extending our partnership through to the end of 2027 provides our high-performance environment with total consistency as our teams prepare for major global tournaments on home soil and abroad.”

Chairman and Athletic Director of PTP and former Wallabies captain, George Gregan, added, “We’re incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Rugby Australia as we enter our seventh year together. Longevity like this is built on trust, shared values and a commitment to helping athletes perform at their best. It’s an exciting time for Australian rugby, and we’re honoured to continue supporting every national program on its journey.”

The extension comes at an important stage for Australian rugby, with the country preparing to host the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027. It gives Rugby Australia continued access to PTP’s performance equipment and expertise as its national teams prepare for major international competitions.

The renewed agreement also builds on PTP’s expanding presence in Australian elite sport. The company previously extended its partnership with Football Australia, strengthening its position as a supplier to the country’s high-performance sporting ecosystem.
