The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have reportedly joined forces with the elite Qatari aviation company, Qatar Airways.
According to the reports, Qatar Airways has been named the official title sponsor of RCB for the next three seasons. As per sources, the deal between the two is worth INR 75 crore, which seems to be the third-largest deal in the history of IPL sponsorships.
Following the deal, the airline company will replace Muthoot FinCorp, and the logo of Qatar Airways will be placed on the front of the RCB player jersey.
Qatar Airways is a Qatari worldwide aviation company that flies to over 150 international destinations across the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, and others. The airline operates from its base at the Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
The Faf du Plessis-led side will look forward to winning its maiden IPL title and concluding the 15-year draught. The Bengaluru-based franchise will kick-start its campaign against the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 2.
