The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have named the online food delivery platform, EatSure, as their official food delivery partner.
With this partnership, EatSure became the first food-tech company to plan the full dining experience and bring numerous prominent brands to a stadium for a T20 game.
EatSure, considered a category creator in food delivery and an omnichannel player with an online and offline presence, will not only curate the dining experience at all RCB home games in Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium but will also have special offers available on its app on game days.
Following this development, EatSure has also been named the official sponsor of the well-known RCB Podcast, in addition to serving as the event’s meal delivery partner. Also, as a result of this arrangement, EatSure will have the sole right to sell food in the stadium’s concession area during all seven of RCB’s home games. EatSure hopes to engage with Indian cricket fans and improve its brand positioning by offering a variety of brands.
A chance to watch the game live from the stadium and see their favourite players in action will be offered by EatSure as one of the many options that are being organised.
Rajesh Menon, Head & Vice President of Royal Challengers Bangalore, said, “We are delighted to partner with EatSure this season. RCB believes in creating a wholesome match experience for fans and F&B is central to at-home and stadium match viewing experience. We look forward to creating a great viewing experience during this season especially when the team returns to home stadium after three years”
Addarsh Barathi, Brand Head, EatSure, said, “We are pleased to announce our association with Royal Challengers Bangalore for 2023 T20 season. T20 is one of the most important cricket seasons which brings fans together across the country and RCB due to its charismatic team is a perfect partner for us. Additionally with the rollout of RCB’s lifestyle ambitions and T20 being a huge platform for engaging with consumers we believe our association with the team will enable us to enhance our brand visibility and drive consumption during the coming cricket season.”
