Brisbane Heat, one of Australia’s leading T20 cricket franchises, have announced a landmark multi-year partnership with Royal Caribbean, the world-renowned family holiday brand.
Kicking off with the 2025-26 season, the global cruise line will become the Heat’s official holiday and membership partner, a collaboration that also extends to Queensland Cricket.
This strategic alliance is set to bring unparalleled benefits and unforgettable experiences to Brisbane Heat members and fans, uniting two brands dedicated to creating memorable family moments during the vibrant Australian summer.
Pete Lock, General Manager – Commercial, Marketing & Corporate Affairs for the Brisbane Heat, highlighted the clear synergy between the two organizations and said, “The Heat brings families together every summer. The start of the summer holidays is when the WBBL and BBL thrives and it is a natural fit with Royal Caribbean, which is also the peak time of their business, entertaining holidaymakers in beautiful locations.
“Our members love being a part of the Brisbane Heat and we are delighted to announce that as part of our partnership with Royal Caribbean, there will be a cruise holiday giveaway for a lucky member, as well as other opportunities for members to access the many exciting offerings available through Royal Caribbean.
“We’re very pleased to be on board with Royal Caribbean and look forward to working alongside them to make summer even more special for our Heat members and fans.”
Gavin Smith, Vice President and Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean, expressed equal enthusiasm and added, “We’re excited to announce the coming together of two iconic brands, as we partner with the Brisbane Heat to create engaging and unforgettable fan experiences both on and off the field. As Royal Caribbean prepares for the upcoming Australian summer season of memory-maxing holidays, our goal is to provide unmatched experiences and entertainment to Queensland families in between monumental cricket games. We look forward to partnering with the Heat to create unforgettable moments for cricket lovers and holidaymakers this summer.”
The partnership will unlock a wealth of exclusive opportunities for Brisbane Heat members. These include gaining access to special Royal Caribbean cruise deals, along with exciting competitions to win weekend cruise getaways, and receiving early insights into Royal Caribbean’s latest offerings through sneak peek product updates. Furthermore, the global cruise line will play an active role in creating engaging, family-oriented community and fan events throughout the summer season.
At The Gabba, the leading cruise operator will become the presenting partner of the popular ‘Fan Zone,’ creating an interactive hub for supporters. Fans can also look forward to the introduction of ‘The Royal Caribbean Countdown,’ a new, eagerly awaited moment during each match designed to build anticipation and excitement for the game, starting in December 2025. To mark the commencement of this significant partnership, the global cruise line is also launching a pre-season competition, offering a lucky member the chance to win an ultimate family cruise holiday.
This partnership arrives as the leading cruise operator gears up for its bustling Australian sailing season, featuring the highly anticipated return of Voyager of the Seas to its new home in Brisbane. Royal Caribbean’s 2025-26 season promises an extensive line-up of 45 getaways to popular destinations including the South Pacific, New Zealand, and along Australia’s eastern seaboard, with sailings scheduled between November 2025 and April 2026. The alignment between the Brisbane Heat’s commitment to family entertainment and Royal Caribbean’s dedication to delivering unforgettable holiday experiences promises an exciting future for cricket fans across Queensland.
