Roger Federer tops Forbes Magazine list of highest-paid tennis player

He has earned only 547,682 euros out of the 76.7 million euros on the tennis court.

Tennis legend Roger Federer remains at the top of the list for the highest-paid players. What is astounding is the fact that even though Roger Federer has played in just five tournaments this year due to a knee injury, his income is still higher than the rest.

Federer earned a whopping €76.7 million in 2021 topping the charts as per Forbes magazine list. Moreover, most of his earnings have come from sponsorship deals and brand endorsements. He has earned only 547,682 euros out of the 76.7 million euros on the tennis court.

His major sponsorship deals are with Uniqlo, Mercedes-Benz, Credit Suisse, Rolex, Barilla, Moet & Chandon and Switzerland Tourism. These are responsible for most of his wealth.

Women’s tennis players Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams are second and third on the list earning €50.9 million and €35.4 million respectively. Serbian international Novak Djokovic earns €32 million whereas Rafael Nadal takes home €22 million.
