Rising football star Jude Bellingham becomes Lucozade’s brand ambassador

Jude Bellingham will spearhead Lucozade's upcoming TV campaign, "Bring the Energy" campaign which will be launched just before the UEFA Euro 2024.

The English football prodigy, Jude Bellingham has netted a multi-year deal with Lucozade, a leading British sports drink brand.

This move builds on Lucozade’s established partnership with the England national team, dating back to 2007.

The 20-year-old, a gifted midfielder currently captivating audiences at Real Madrid CF, will spearhead Lucozade’s upcoming TV campaign, “Bring the Energy.” The campaign is strategically timed to launch just before the highly anticipated UEFA Euro 2024.

Bellingham, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “If you’ve played sport at any level in the UK, you know that Lucozade Sport is the go-to drink associated with sporting performance. My brother and I used to watch our dad play football and I always remember him having one in his hand. So to now be working with such an iconic brand is massive for me – I’m looking forward to bringing the energy with them this summer and beyond.”

Lucozade, a household name in the UK, is synonymous with energy drinks. Established in 1927, it began as a health drink for the unwell. Over time, Lucozade evolved into a go-to beverage for athletes and busy individuals seeking an energy boost. Now owned by Suntory, a Japanese company, Lucozade offers a variety of flavours and formulations, catering to both sugar-conscious and traditional preferences.

Bellingham’s breakout season for Los Blancos in 2023-24 was nothing short of stellar. He contributed an impressive 23 goals and 12 assists across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in securing Reyes de Europa’s 36th LALIGA title and the Supercopa de Espana. Now, his sights are set on the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy, with the final against Borussia Dortmund scheduled for June 2 at 12:30 AM IST.
